How we started!

Lovestruck in Seattle is a queer and woman owned indie bookstore and was Seattle's first brick and mortar romance only bookstore!

Our story is not the typical one but it is one with a happily ever after!

We started with a dream to bring more romance to the Pacific Northwest as well as create community and a safe space to enjoy friendship and of course our favorite books.

Thanks to Seattle Restored, an amazing program that helps small businesses get into brick and mortar spaces, the dream was made reality and we were able to open much faster than we could have done on our own. On July 13th, 2025 over 500 of you waited in line to support our little indie bookstore!

We officially opened our permanent location in the Wedgwood Neighborhood in October 2025 at 8507 35th Ave Seattle, WA 98115!

We are officially established in 2025 thanks to the amazing Seattle Restored Pop Up program and the incredible bookish community in the Pacific Northwest!
